Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and PATENT SOLVE LLC ("we"), the operator of GappyGap. By playing GappyGap, you agree to them. If you're under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian, who agrees to them for you.

1. The game

GappyGap is free. There are no accounts, purchases or ads. It's a prototype that's still being tested, so features, levels and saved progress may change, reset or go away.

Where you can play: GappyGap is offered only to people in the United States and its territories. It isn't intended for, or offered to, people in other countries.

2. Play fair and be kind

• Don't hack, change or copy the game or its challenge links, use bots or scripts to play, or try to disrupt the site.
• Names must be a first name or a fun name. Nothing rude or hateful, and don't use someone else's name without their OK.
• Never put a full name, phone number, address or other personal details in a name.
• Only send challenges to people who'd want them.
• We may block names, email addresses or internet connections used to break these rules, without notice.

3. Challenges and scores

Challenges are just for fun. There are no prizes, money or rewards of any value. The game checks the scores in challenge links, but we can't guarantee any score or result.

4. Health and safety

Seizure warning: GappyGap has flashing lights, glowing effects and screen shake. A very small number of people may have seizures when they see certain lights or patterns, even if they've never had one before. If you or your child has epilepsy or has had a seizure, check with a doctor before playing. Stop playing right away and see a doctor if you notice dizziness, changes in vision, eye or muscle twitching, confusion or any involuntary movement.

Turning on your device's Reduce Motion setting turns off screen shake and tones down other effects. Take breaks, don't play while walking or driving, and keep an eye on young children while they play.

Accessibility: if a disability makes GappyGap or these pages hard to use, tell us and we'll try to help.

5. Who owns what

GappyGap, the Gappy character, and the game's art, sounds and code belong to us. We give you a personal, non-commercial right to play. Please don't copy, sell or re-host the game, or put it on another website or app.

6. Ideas and feedback

We'd love your ideas. If you send us any, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what happens to information when you play.

8. No warranties

To the extent the law allows, GappyGap is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always work, be error-free, or keep your progress.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data such as scores or progress. Our total responsibility for any claim about GappyGap is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes and ending

We may change, pause or end GappyGap at any time. You can stop playing whenever you like, and you can erase the game's data on your device. If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to play means you accept the update.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Tennessee. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
